Auf Vulkanen in Süddeutschland

Eine sehr interessante Wanderung auf die Hegauer Chegel.
Heute wanderte ich auf die Hegauer Chegel. Das sind Hügel vulkanischen Ursprungs in der Nähe von Singen in Süddeutschland. Diese äusserst interessante Wanderung wurde von der Zürcher Kantonalbank empfohlen.
Die Wanderung startet in Mühlhausen-Ehingen und geht über die drei Burgen:
- Mägdeburg
- Hohenkrähen
- Hohentwiel
nach Singen. Die Burgen, resp. Burgruinen, thronen jeweils auf einem vulkanischen Hügel.
Die Wanderung ist einfach und dauert etwa 5 Stunden. Sie bietet wunderschöne Aussichten bis in die schweizerischen und österreichischen Alpen. Unterwegs gibt es einige Restaurants mit schönen Terrassen und prachtvoller Sicht:
- Restaurant Hegauhaus zwischen Hohenkrähen und Hohentwiel
- Restaurant Hohentwiel unterhalb der Burg Hohentwiel
- Ein einfaches Bistro auf dem Hohentwiel
